ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack on the church in Türkiye

According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, the ISIS terrorist group, in the last hours of Sunday evening, issued a statement and took responsibility for the attack on the “Santa Maria” Church in Istanbul.

The Ministry of Interior of Turkey announced yesterday morning that two masked armed men attacked the Santa Maria church in Istanbul, killing one person and injuring at least two others.

Turkish security forces surrounded the area yesterday immediately after receiving the report, and the country’s police forces were also sent to the place. It was done at 11:40 a.m. local time yesterday during the Christian Sunday service in this church.
