According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, the charge d’affaires of the embassy In Kabul, at the “Afghanistan Regional Cooperation Initiative” meeting, India stated that New Delhi actively participates in international and regional initiatives regarding Afghanistan and supports every effort that leads to the stability and development of Afghanistan.
He called India’s relations with Afghanistan as historical and emphasized the cooperation between the two countries with the need to preserve and consider the interests of Afghans.
According to the report ” National TV”, this Indian diplomat also emphasized Delhi’s desire to develop trade relations with Afghanistan, spoke about the expansion of trade relations through Chabahar port and the increase of this country’s aid to Afghanistan.
The presence of this senior Indian diplomat in Kabul was unveiled while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country had not yet officially approved the dispatch of its envoy to Afghanistan. Earlier, Delhi had announced that only one technical team was sent from India to Kabul due to consular issues.
This is while following the non-cooperation of Delhi with the diplomats of the Ghani government, the former officials of this embassy have left and now the Afghan embassy is managed by diplomats close to the Taliban.
