Secret talks of European defense ministers about aid to Ukraine

According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, “Joseph Borrell” in charge of foreign policy of the European Union said today (Wednesday) that the European countries will review the provision of new aid to Ukraine in maximum confidentiality.
Borrell explained in a short conversation with reporters before entering the informal meeting of the defense ministers of EU member states that due to the confidentiality of the nature of the military aid to Ukraine, today’s discussions are being held behind closed doors.
According to “Sputnik” news agency, he also admitted that there is a big disparity between the military power of Ukraine and Russia in the war zones and the battlefield towards Moscow.
This European official stated that Ukraine needs more ammunition and military equipment, and stated that today’s meeting of the heads of defense ministries of EU member states in Brussels is dedicated to agreeing on new military aid to Kiev.
According to this report, Borrell pointed out the need to determine the amount of ammunition that Ukraine needs and the amount of assistance from each European country in this regard, adding: Let’s do it, let’s achieve it.” Earlier, “Yuri Ushakov”, assistant to the Russian president, while pointing to Moscow’s constant readiness to negotiate with Ukraine, said that Kiev itself is not ready for any kind of negotiations.
