Israeli, American, Egyptian and Qatari negotiators reached an agreement in Paris on Sunday on a framework to stop the war and release other Israeli prisoners held by Hamas. In a joint press conference with his Qatari counterpart in Washington, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken described it as “strong and convincing”. Also, on Saturday of this week, pointing out that the negotiations regarding the Palestinian and Israeli prisoners have improved compared to the previous weeks, he said: “The current stage of the negotiations can lead to a permanent ceasefire in the future”.
He also emphasized: The Israeli and Hamas sides agree on the principle of this proposal, which can end in a humanitarian ceasefire. We hope this will happen in a few weeks.

Qatar Foreign Ministry spokesman also said that “Israel has agreed to the ceasefire proposal and Hamas has initially approved this agreement.” This is despite the fact that Hamas has not yet officially confirmed this issue, but its leaders have repeatedly emphasized that they are examining this plan.
A senior official in the Islamic Resistance Movement Palestine (Hamas) announced on Tuesday this week that the Paris initiative for a cease-fire in Gaza consists of three phases. The first stage of this plan includes the release of civilians such as women, children, the elderly and the sick.
The second stage includes the release of all male and female soldiers. The third stage of the Paris proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza includes the delivery of the bodies of the dead. This senior Hamas official said that all military operations will be suspended during the three phases.
