According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, “Amir Khan Motaghi, the foreign minister of the Taliban government, discussed with the head of the UN Deputy Mission in Kabul, Roza Otunbaeva, about the composition and agenda of the meeting in Qatar. Foreign Ministry Spokesman Abdul Qahar Balkhi The Taliban government wrote on the X social network about this meeting, Motaghi asked for more explanation about the clarification of the composition and the agenda of the Doha meeting. And we will decide on the agenda of the Doha meeting about attending it.
Balkhi statements of the two sides also exchanged views on the recent diplomatic developments in Afghanistan.
The head of the office of the UN Deputy Mission in Afghanistan also requested the participation of a delegation from the Kabul government in the Doha meeting.
Earlier, Maulvi Abdul Kabir, political deputy of the Taliban government, said that Afghanistan was invited to attend the Doha meeting.
Before this, “Stefan Dujarric”, the spokesperson of the Secretary General of the United Nations, said that the special representatives of the countries in the affairs of Afghanistan will hold a meeting in order to coordinate the approach of different countries and deal with independent evaluations about this country.
