Hamas: US aggression in Yemen leads the region to instability

According to the international group Tasnim News Agency, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) this Sunday issued A statement condemned the repeated aggression of the United States and the United Kingdom on the territory of Yemen and emphasized that these attacks are a clear violation of the sovereignty of the Yemeni government. The Palestinian Resistance Movement added that the aggression on the territory of Yemen escalates tensions and leads the region towards unrest and It will lead to more instability, the full responsibility for its consequences rests with Washington and the Zionist occupation. We ask Islam to take a firm stand against American aggression.

Palestinian resistance movement also asked the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to take practical measures to stop the Zionist aggression in Gaza. Sana’a and several other provinces of Yemen were the target of their air attack.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced in a statement this Sunday morning that during the past hours, the American and British aggressors attacked areas in the city of Sana’a and the provinces of Sana’a, Hodeidah, Saada, Baida, Taiz and Lahj 48 times. He said that such attacks will not prevent the Yemeni forces and people from giving up their religious and humanitarian support to the Palestinians against the occupation and crimes of the Zionists, and the attacks of the aggressors will not go unanswered.

In a joint statement, the United States and the United Kingdom claimed to target 36 targets in 13 places in Yemen.

CNN also quoted American officials as claiming that in these attacks, the command centers and weapons warehouses of the Yemeni army were targeted.
