, “Ahmad Ataf”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria, who is the bearer of the letter of the President of this country to “Mohammed Menifi”, the head of the Libyan Presidential Council, said in a meeting with him: “Algeria is ready for the Libyan crisis as soon as possible (two-state governance and the holding of national elections) ) through the Security Council.
He clarified: Algeria believes that the political crisis in Libya should be resolved through Libyan-Libyan negotiations.
During this meeting, Ataf handed over the letter of the Algerian President to “Mohamed Manifi” and both sides emphasized the solidarity of the two nations.
According to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Algeria, the purpose of Ataf’s trip to Libya is to expand bilateral cooperation and establish peace and stability in the region.
