According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, “Malek Anis Al-Hassan, the deputy police supervisor of “Daraban” in “Deira Ismail Khan” region, stated that at least 10 policemen were killed and six others were injured in an attack by unknown armed men on a police station in this area this morning.
According to this report, the attack was carried out in this area from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province at 3 am (16th of Bahman) local time in “Daraban” area.
Daraban police deputy supervisor said: Armed attackers first targeted the sniper of the police station guards and then entered this center.
In the report The police said: “After entering the building of the police station, the terrorists used hand grenades to cause more casualties to the police”.
According to local media reports, the attackers fled from the place after the attack, but the security forces surrounded the area and started a search operation to pursue them.
