According to the report of the international group of Fars news agency, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani hosted Ali Akbar Ahmadian, the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Al-Sudani emphasized that Iraq has made a lot of efforts to maintain stability and establish peace, and considers this issue to be a common benefit for the nations of the region. In this meeting, Al-Sudani expressed his opposition to any unilateral action that contradicts international principles and mutual respect for the sovereignty of countries.
At the same time, the Prime Minister of Iraq said that this country adheres to the principles of good neighborliness and It has proven to establish the best relations with the countries of the region, but at the same time, it has no complaints with anyone regarding the sovereignty and security of Iraq. Iraq is committed to stability and is willing to act based on the joint security agreement between Tehran and Baghdad; in such a way that the security of two neighboring countries is ensured.
