Security Council meeting about US attacks on Iraq and Syria

According to Fars News Agency International Group, the United Nations Security Council held an extraordinary meeting on the subject of aggressive US attacks on the bases of resistance groups in Iraq and Syria on Tuesday morning.
Rosemary DiCarlo, UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs, said at the beginning of this meeting: “I once again emphasize the request for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza for humanitarian reasons.”
According to Al Jazeera’s website, DiCarlo stated that the attacks in the Red Sea have caused concern to the world and claimed: “The continuation of the attacks in the Red Sea is a threat to the expansion of the conflict in the region”.
