According to the foreign policy group of Fars news agency, the foreign ministers of Iran and Sweden had a phone conversation today (Wednesday), 18th of Bahman.
In the evening phone call Today, Hossein Amirabdollahian and Tobias Billström, the foreign minister of Sweden, discussed the latest state of bilateral relations. They emphasized the strengthening of diplomatic consultations.
The exchange of views on some consular issues was one of the other topics discussed in this round of talks.
Amir Abdullahian and his Swedish counterpart had met in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting last August. Amir Abdullahian, in his meeting with his Swedish counterpart, stated that there is no doubt that the hypocrites are behind Hamid Nouri’s case, and emphasized the release of this Iranian citizen imprisoned in Sweden.
