According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, the Border Crossings Administration in the Gaza Strip announced today (Thursday, February 8) the release of 71 Palestinian prisoners, including 19 women, at the Karam Abu Salem crossing.
On Thursday morning, the Zionist army released 114 prisoners living in Gaza who were detained during the war, after weeks of torture. Most of them were residents of Khan Yunis in the south of the Gaza Strip, an area that has been witnessing heavy attacks by the Israeli occupation for several weeks.
The effects of torture were quite evident on the bodies of most of these prisoners, who were held captive for a few days to a few weeks. Some of them were transferred to Israeli prisons, while others were kept in destroyed houses that have been turned into Israeli barracks in Gaza. Most of these prisoners were transferred to some hospitals after the liberation and the relative withdrawal of the invaders, such as Nasser Medical Complex, and some of them, along with their families, went to Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah to receive first aid and ensure that their bodies were not damaged under torture. were not seen seriously, they were transferred, especially as some of them were suffering from chronic diseases, including cancer.
