According to the foreign policy group Tasnim news agency, in the evening Thursday, Bahman 19, the National Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Ouagadougou, hosted by the ambassador of our country, Mojtaba Faghihi, and with the presence of Kilim Dutambala, the Prime Minister of Burkina Faso, Serge Puda, the Minister of Commerce and Industries. General “Kulibai” Minister of Defense and Veterans, “Stella El Din” Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, a group of foreign ambassadors and heads of international organizations, traditional and tribal officials of the capital and other senior government and private sector managers were held.
In this program, Iranian Ambassador Mojtaba Faghihi, during his speech, explained the secret of the lasting and continuous strengthening of the Islamic Republic of Iran over the past 45 years, independence in political philosophy and the nationalization of Iranian political thought. It is based on Islamic Sharia and democracy and reminded that borrowing ideas and political systems from others has never led to power and makes the country that imports the idea always subject to the culture and politics of the exporting country.
Stella Al-Din Kabore, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs (Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs) who was present at this celebration, stated in her speech that the two countries have relations of friendship and cooperation. They maintain “excellence” based on “fruitful” participation and respect for sovereignty.
This senior Burkinabe official stated: For us, Iran is a model of sovereignty and resistance. We should learn from his courage and resistance in facing the difficult international conditions that were imposed on Tehran. We should also learn from the struggle of the Islamic Republic of Iran to preserve its values, in a world where we are harassed by foreign influences every day.
