Iran strongly condemned Israel’s airstrikes on Rafah

According to Tasnim News, Nasser Kanani, referring to Rafah’s hosting of more than one million Palestinian refugees , warned that the action of the Zionist regime in encroaching on Rafah and threatening a ground attack on this area could cause a humanitarian disaster and another war crime against the defenseless Palestinian nation. Kanani stressed that such an intention and action is not only contrary to and disturbing the current negotiations on the issue of ceasefire, but also an action contrary to the temporary order issued by the International Court of Justice and an example of the malicious intentions of the Zionists in repeatedly violating all international legal norms in order to discredit them.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs while warning about the dangerous consequences of this barbaric act and expressing concern about the continuation of the crime of genocide by the Zionist regime, emphasized that now is the time that if the United States and other Western allies of the Zionists express Their concerns about the security and stability of the region are sincere, they should take immediate action to curb the insane behavior of the Zionist regime authorities in killing the defenseless people of Palestine. Regarding the disturbing consequences of any military action by the Zionist regime in Rafah on the situation of the residents and refugees of this region, he emphasized the responsibility of international organizations, especially the United Nations, in preventing the continuation of the Zionist regime’s attack on the Gaza Strip and preventing the escalation of the humanitarian disaster.
