Dan Jørgensen, Minister of Development Cooperation and Global Climate Policy of Denmark, met with Philippe Lazzarini, the head of UNRWA, following the accusations made against UN staff in connection with the attacks October 7 against the Zionist regime, it is necessary to try to restore the trust and neutrality of the United Nations in order to ensure a complete and transparent review process in this regard.

He adopted A position contrary to the position of the Zionist regime regarding UNRWA, he considered it necessary and vital to support the civilians of Gaza. The United Nations has suspended funding to UNRWA, Denmark has said it will not stop funding UNRWA. because this action will lead to the acceleration of conflicts in the Gaza Strip. He will present himself to the UN agency as planned in March.

In his opinion, the collective punishment of Gaza is not a way to solve the current complex crisis in the region. He has described such an action against UNRWA as an organization with 30,000 troops, 13,000 of whom are in Gaza, as terrible. UNRWA, 16 countries have suspended their financial aid to this agency and stated that they will not help UNRWA until the research process in this area is completed.
