According to Webangah News quoted by Tasnim News agency, Qasim al-Aarji, Iraq’s national security advisor, in the “Meeting between International Committee to Combat Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism” stated that the Iraqi government has approved the national strategy to combat violent extremism leading to terrorism in order to strengthen its steps in the field of peace and tranquility in the society.

Al-Araji said that we have taken great steps in the pursuit of terrorist elements after the liberation of our beloved cities. He further stated that Iraq emphasizes its firm position regarding the killing and genocide of children, women and other innocent people in the Gaza Strip. He has declared himself and the killing of Iraqi citizens and the targeting of national institutions, and he is also against turning his lands into a field for settling scores. He added that Iraq is not considered a danger to any country, at the same time It will be far from any conflict and everyone should help it in this approach.
