According to the regional office Tasnim News Agency, the World Bank announced that the bank’s Executive Directors Committee has adopted a new modified approach called “Approach 3.0” for supported the people of Afghanistan, on the basis of which the work of the CASA-1000 energy transmission project will be resumed in Afghanistan. The neighboring country of Afghanistan will be resumed in order to avoid the risk of this project becoming a “wandering asset”.
The bank has emphasized that the work of this project will be resumed in a way to ensure that all future construction payments and revenues are managed outside of Afghanistan and do not include systems under Taliban control.
CASA-1000 Project, an energy transmission project from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan It is worth 1.2 billion dollars through Afghanistan. The World Bank has said that the work of this project in three other countries is almost finished and only Afghanistan remains.
The World Bank also announced that under its new approach, it will provide aid to the people of Afghanistan through the United Nations and other international organizations.

This bank said which in its 1.0 approach has contributed 280 million dollars to UNICEF and the World Food Program to meet urgent needs in the health and nutrition sector.
The World Bank said that based on the approach 2.0 has also contributed $1.3 billion to support the people of Afghanistan in the areas of health, education, food security, livelihoods and water. The Taliban has focused on providing services to women and girls.
