According to the Regional Office Tasnim news, “Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani”, Minister of Refugees of the Taliban government, said just before After the collapse of the republic in Kabul, he sent a message to Ashraf Ghani through Hamdullah Mohib, the national security adviser of the former Afghan government, asking him to resign because America used him and will no longer support him.
Haqqani, in a conversation with “Shamshad”, said that the purpose of proposing Ghani’s resignation was to prevent further bloodshed and added that Ashraf Ghani decided to flee instead of resigning.
He further claimed that he was with Ismail Khan and Abdul Rab Rasool Sayyaf, two prominent figures of the National Resistance Council. He is still in touch.
He said that he had more than 20 meetings with Ismail Khan and he has authentic documents that show that until Sayyaf’s entry into the airport Kabul was in contact with him during the days of the fall of the republic.
According to Haqqani, before the fall of Kabul, he brought the tribal elders to Ashraf several times for peace. Ghani and Hamdullah Mohib had sent, but they did not accept this offer.
It should be said that on August 24, 1400, after the escape of Ashraf Ghani and other Afghan officials, the Taliban entered Kabul and took power without a fight or bloodshed.
