Zionist attacks on medical centers take place while international laws and agreements emphasize that homes, schools, universities, hospitals, places of worship and other civilian infrastructures are protected from any encroachment. And they should be safe from aggression.
According to Geneva Conventions 1 and 4, treatment and safe areas can be created during wartime, which treatment areas include hospitals and health centers, and safe areas also mean places away from the battlefield.
According to Resolution 2675 of the United Nations General Assembly approved in 1970, it is also prohibited to target areas around hospitals or shelters and medical staff, and the protocols and agreements known as the “principle of separation” which means differentiating between military and civilians It prohibits targeting these places.
On October 15, 1402, on October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance groups launched a surprise operation called “Al-Aqsa Storm” from Gaza (southern Palestine) against the positions of the Israeli regime. On November 24, 2023, a four-day temporary ceasefire was established between Israel and Hamas, or a pause for the exchange of prisoners between Hamas and Israel.
This pause in the war continued for seven days and finally on the morning of Friday, December 10, 2023, the temporary ceasefire ended and the Israeli regime resumed attacks on Gaza. In order to retaliate against the surprise attacks of the “Al-Aqsa storm” and compensate for its failure and stop the resistance operations, this regime has closed the crossings of the Gaza Strip and is bombarding this area, and the Palestinian resistance fighters, despite the lack of facilities and the siege of the Gaza Strip, are facing the occupiers. They are Zionists.
The war against Gaza has reached its 134th day, while the Zionist forces continue their crimes against the oppressed Palestinian people, focusing on the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip, and the situation in this city is so disastrous that Many countries and international organizations have repeatedly warned about its deplorable conditions.
According to the latest report of the Gaza Ministry of Health, 28 thousand 775 Palestinians have been martyred and 68 thousand 552 others have been injured as a result of the crimes of the Zionist regime since October 7th (October 15).
