Zelensky: Putin bowed to Iran and North Korea
The president of Ukraine claimed that Putin bowed down to receive military aid against Iran and North Korea. |
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, claimed in a statement on Saturday that the “myth” that Russian weapons have an “advantage” over Western weapons is rejected.
He claimed that in reality, Russian equipment is worse in every way, and that Russian President Vladimir Putin “for the first time in Russian history bowed to help Iran and North Korea”.
Zelensky stressed that Ukraine should “open the sky” by receiving air defense systems and fighter jets to turn the tide of the war with Russia.
He noted that protecting cities from Russian airstrikes would allow Ukraine to return and resettle refugees from Europe, which would also help restart Ukraine’s economy.
Zelensky says he invited Trump to Ukraine
The president of Ukraine further said that he has invited Donald Trump, the former president of the United States, to come to Ukraine and will welcome any candidate for the upcoming presidential elections. Zelensky said he was ready to take Trump to the front lines to show him “real war.”
Zelensky also asked the US Congress to approve the new support package law for Ukraine; Because Ukraine and its allies can win the war against Russia “only with unity”. A bill passed the Senate earlier this year, but is expected to fail in the Republican-controlled House.
