European Union: The attack on the city of Rafah worsens the disastrous situation in Gaza

The EU foreign policy official warned against the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Gaza if the Zionist regime attacks Rafah.

EU foreign policy official Josep Borrell wrote on X social network: “The European Union asks Israel not to take military action in Rafah [because this action] will worsen the humanitarian situation in Gaza, which is already catastrophic.”

According to Anatolia news agency, he emphasized that all civilians should be protected in accordance with international humanitarian laws and asked the Zionist regime to respect the order of the International Court of Justice issued last month.

Burrell also claimed: “We again ask Hamas to release all hostages immediately and unconditionally”.

It should be said that about 1.5 million Palestinians, who were previously displaced due to the occupation army’s attack on the northern Gaza Strip, have taken refuge in the southern city of Rafah.

Since the Zionist regime announced its intention to attack this city by ground, the international alarm has sounded and many countries have demanded the cancellation of this order.

So far, more than 28,000 Palestinians living in Gaza have been martyred and 85% of the population of this area has been displaced.

An interim order issued by the Hague Tribunal last month ordered Tel Aviv to stop its genocidal actions, but the regime has so far ignored it.
