The former FBI official was sentenced to 2 years in prison for accepting bribes

The former official of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was sentenced to more than two years in prison for the crime of concealing the receipt of $225,000 from an Albanian intelligence agent.

According to the announcement of the US Department of Justice, McGonigal had hidden from the FBI receiving money from the Albanian official and also accompanying him on foreign trips for business purposes.
