Biden blundered again about financial aid to Ukraine
In his latest speech, the US President confused Ukraine and the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) and talked about the approval of the Kyiv financing bill. |
Joe Biden noted during his speech that the idea of ending aid to Ukraine is against the interests of the United States.
He said, “So, it’s time to make sure that Congress … passes legislation on funding NATO (!)”, he said.
Biden spoke about NATO financing while there is no bill in the US Congress to increase the NATO budget and what is being considered in the US Congress and Senate is financial aid for Ukraine.
According to Fox News, earlier, Justice Department Inspector General Robert Hoare released a report on Biden’s improper storage of classified documents. In the report, he urged that no criminal charges be brought against the US president because Biden might appear to a jury in court as a “handsome old man with memory problems.” Biden himself reacted negatively to this report and claimed that he does not have a mental problem. But moments later, he made another mistake and confused the president of Egypt and Mexico.
It is worth noting that all these facts are worrying for many Democrats and voters. Considering the upcoming presidential election, this report only increased their concern and is likely to affect Biden’s chances in the election.
According to the German magazine Spiegel, Joe Biden looked “weaker and more vulnerable” during his presidency.
