According to the regional office Tasnim News Agency, “Hassan Kazemi Qomi”, the ambassador and special representative of the Iranian president in Afghanistan affairs, who went to Qatar to participate in the Doha meeting In a post on “X”, he explained Iran’s goals and expectations from this meeting.
Declaring that the Doha meeting has started this evening, Kazemi Qomi wrote that Iran’s focus in the meeting is as follows:
1. The collective decision for international processes should be based on comprehensive and non-imposing consultation. 2. Thematic priorities of Afghanistan should be considered.
3. Decisions should be based on the mutual and legitimate interests of Afghanistan, its neighbors, the region and the international environment.
Iran’s special representative for Afghanistan also announced his meeting with his counterparts from China, Pakistan and Russia and the role of the regional contact committee for Afghanistan. He called it an important and effective process.
He said: After the meeting last month in Kabul, we reviewed the situation before the Doha meeting. common issue; Afghan people, collective security and a process that can guarantee security and stability, as well as people’s well-being.
