Russia’s growing cyberattacks on French military companies

According toMehr News Agency to According to TASS, Sebastien Lecorneau, the Minister of Defense of France, announced the increase of hacking attacks on French companies affiliated with the military-industrial complex and claimed that Russia is behind these attacks.
The Minister of Defense said in an interview with the “Le Journal de Dimanche” newspaper: “We are facing unprecedented Russian cyber attacks, which have become more and more aggressive. Government and Russian people are behind the attacks against our infrastructure.”
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hackers attacked a large defense organization in France a few months ago and this attack was repelled.
He also added: “It is quite clear that the source of the attacks on French military infrastructure came from Russia.”
Lecurno claimed that the perpetrators of the cyber attacks were trying to disrupt the military production of “France and its allies”.
