reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Tass, Chinese military expert Song Zhongping told Global Times that despite the security agreements that Ukraine has concluded with Germany and France, they will not accept Kyiv’s membership in NATO.
The expert told China’s state-run newspaper that signing security agreements with France and Germany, two major European countries, would set a precedent that would encourage other European countries to follow suit. and increase cooperation with Ukraine. But this does not mean “Ukraine joining NATO”.
This expert added: In the long run, these countries (France and Germany) will also avoid direct military conflict with Russia and will not allow Ukraine to join NATO.
Another political expert Kui Heng also said that Europe will continue to provide aid to Ukraine, but its volume and speed will be reduced.
About the security agreements signed by Kyiv with Berlin and Paris, this expert noted that these agreements are not binding and have no responsibility for France and Germany.
