According to this report, in this meeting, the two sides discussed the development of relations between Iraq and Russia and the continuation of cooperation in the field of fighting terrorism and exchange of information. .
Al-Araji stressed that Iraq’s position regarding the war between Russia and Ukraine is a clear and stable one, and emphasized: We consider this war a war of attrition. And we believe that in order to solve this crisis, we should resort to dialogue through diplomatic channels. Meanwhile, our relations with Russia are historical and strategic relations and we must invest in these relations to establish security and stability in the region and the world.
The National Security Adviser of Iraq also said: What is happening in Gaza is a human crime in which children and women are being killed and it must be stopped.
