Burrell: The European Union does not have funds for the production of weapons for Ukraine

EU foreign policy chief Josep Burrell said that the EU has enough capacity to produce weapons for Ukraine, but does not have the necessary budget.

According to Sputnik, Burrell stated on the sidelines of the Munich security conference, referring to the “faster and more” supply of weapons to Ukraine: the European Union does not “lack the capacity” to produce weapons, but it “lacks funds.” The future of war in Ukraine will depend on drones and artificial intelligence technologies.

Burrell also said: The European Union has often delayed providing new types of weapons to Ukraine, and if it wasn’t for that, maybe the situation would turn out differently.

The war in Ukraine started on the 5th of March 1400 after the West, led by the United States, ignored Moscow’s security concerns. Until now, the West has prevented Ukraine from taking any political action to end this conflict with its huge financial and military support, but now the member countries of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) supporting Kiev realize the impossibility of continuing the financing and military process and emptying the treasury. And they have become their ammunition arsenal and express their helplessness in pursuing this policy.

For this reason, Russia has been able to take full control of the city of “Audioka” by withdrawing the Ukrainian forces from their trenches due to the lack of ammunition. Therefore, experts warn against the retreat of Ukrainian forces in the absence of Western support.
