Pro-Palestinian demonstrators in the United States accused the country's Republican senator of complicity in the Gaza genocide and demanded his arrest. |
Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz on Saturday faced a noisy crowd of demonstrators against the Israeli regime’s bloody war in the Gaza Strip for the second time in a week.
According to Al-Quds al-Arabi report, Cruz, who did not shy away from declaring his continued support for the massacre of the Zionist regime in Gaza, wrote in a post on the social network: For the second time this week, anti-Israel protesters came to my house. This protest has hurt my family and neighbors.
This Republican American senator, who has received thousands of dollars in financial aid from the Zionist lobby in America, said: “I am proud to be with Israel.” Expressing his strong devotion to the Zionist regime, Cruz shared the Zionist anthem in a subsequent post on Platform X, writing: “Ana Yisrael Chai!” which is a Hebrew phrase meaning “long live the people of Israel”.
The demonstrators were holding signs, one of which showed the child martyrs of Gaza, and another person was holding a sign that read: Stop financing the genocide. Some of them were shouting Ted Cruz, you will see. Palestine will be free. Ted Cruz, what do you say? How many children did you kill today?
The group also chanted: Ted Cruz, you can’t hide, we accuse you of genocide. In another chant, the group insisted that Cruz should be in jail for supporting Israel. Demonstrators also gathered at the headquarters of a fundraiser for Cruz and chanted slogans against his support for the Israeli massacre in Gaza.
