This newspaper stated: Students who violate this ban will be fined for staying at school after school, as well as confiscating their cell phones for as long as the school principal deems necessary.
The guidelines for carrying cell phones in schools provide schools with 4 different ways to ensure compliance with the new rules.
The “simpler” option is to completely ban cell phone use on school grounds. The second and third options include handing over phones to school staff or leaving them in special lockers during lessons.
The fourth method allows keeping the mobile phone, but under the condition that it is “not used, seen and heard”.
