The Red Cross warns of the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza and Israel’s operation in Rafah

The International Committee of the Red Cross, expressing concern about the possible military operation of the Israeli regime, warned Rafah, which hosts tens of thousands of Palestinian refugees, about the occurrence of a "humanitarian disaster" in the Gaza Strip.

reported by Mehr News Agency, in a situation where humanitarian aid and medical and food items are being dripped into the Gaza Strip due to the disruption of the Israeli regime, the committee International Red Cross expressed concern about the dire situation of Palestinian refugees in the city of Rafah, where more than 1.5 million people live in less than 20% of the territory of Gaza (approx. 60 square kilometers) warned Rafah about the possible military operation of the Israeli regime.

Previously, the spokesperson of the Red Cross in the Gaza Strip said that Gaza needs help and this action should be done immediately. and be done quickly.

Gaza has endured intense conflict for four months. Many people have fled the war to southern Gaza, where more than 1.5 million people live in less than 20 percent of Gaza’s territory (approximately 60 square kilometers). Today, Rafah is so overcrowded that IDPs are desperately looking for an empty space to set up a simple tent.
