According to Reuters, this American official, who did not want to be named, said: We can confirm that an MQ9 plane of the American Air Force has crashed on the coast of Hodeidah.

This American official added: The US Air Force is investigating the cause of the downing of this drone.
Major General Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces, said on Monday: Our armed forces targeted an American MQ-9 drone while spying over Yemen’s Hodeidah province with appropriate weapons.
Since the beginning of the war against Gaza and the brutal invasion of the Zionist regime in this region, Yemen has repeatedly warned the Israeli regime and demanded an end to this war, but finally in November 2023 (Aban) and after the continuation of these conflicts in Gaza, It has started attacks against ships related to this regime in the Red Sea.
During the past weeks, in support of the resistance of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the Yemeni army has targeted several Zionist ships or ships bound for the occupied territories in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.
