Ammar Hakim: We need peace today more than ever

The leader of Iraq's national wisdom stream in the World Peace Culture Association said that today we need peace more than ever, but the Zionist regime is preventing it from being realized in the region.

Sayyed Ammar Hakim, the leader of Iraq’s national wisdom movement, stated that today we need peace more than ever, and stated: Peace is not just not being in a state of war and strife, but a state of security and stability that comes from relations. It starts personal and social and reaches a wide international level.
According to the media office of the Iraqi National Wisdom Movement, Seyed Ammar Hakim, the leader of the Iraqi National Wisdom Movement, at the 3rd Forum of the World Culture of Peace, which was held today (Tuesday) in Egypt, referring to the pillars of peace, added: three pillars The realization of peace, that is, the current need and ability to realize it and the mechanisms to protect it, is not possible without a development-oriented process to establish peace and its sustainability in a practical, effective and appropriate way, and future generations want sustainable peace.

The leader of Iraq’s national wisdom stream noted that today more than ever we need to strengthen the foundations of peace and implement its current pillars in our region and in the world, and this is done by strengthening opportunities for inclusive development.

Hakim emphasized that it is not possible to separate development from peace and these two concepts are completely intertwined. The increase in population in the world, especially in Arab and Islamic countries, makes development an existential demand and not an abstract and cultural matter.

He further pointed to some examples of sustainable development in Arab countries, such as the “New Administrative Capital” project in Egypt and the Faw Grand Port project and “Development Path” in Iraq, and emphasized that development should arise from within the society and depend on our human, natural and cultural resources, without justifying the interference of others in our internal affairs in the name of development with foreign goals.

The leader of Iraq’s national wisdom stream stated that it is impossible to talk about development in the noise of gunshots and war drums and its destructive effects, and said: “In order to realize development, we must first identify what prevents us from reaching the threshold of development.” /p>

Hakim further pointed out the obstacles that Iraq has faced in the path of its development in the past two decades and said: consecutive wars and years of sanctions and economic blockade along with the culture of extremism and excommunication and violence were important obstacles against the prosperity of Iraq. And today, with the grace and grace of God and with the will of the Iraqi nation and national political forces and knowledgeable authorities, we were able to overcome these obstacles and their devastating consequences to a great extent.

He stated that today’s Iraq is significantly different from yesterday and the past and is on the path of progress in strategic and vital fields. Iraq was able to defeat terrorism and extremism and integrate social spectrums in a democratic and successful political process. Let’s not forget that democracy is the main core of development and without a democratic system based on the peaceful transfer of power, it is not possible to achieve development.

The leader of Iraq’s national wisdom stream, referring to Iraq’s policy in relation to other countries, stated: Iraq was also able to successfully distance itself from regional and international fronts and adopt a policy of constructive neutrality without compromising Arab and Islamic values and religious principles. Don’t turn your back on genuine morals.

Hakim stressed that extremism and terrorism still undermine our efforts for peace and we cannot ignore the need for a fundamental and comprehensive confrontation with these challenges.

The Zionist regime is an obstacle to achieving peace in the region

Referring to the crimes of the Zionist regime, he further stated: Mass killing of the Palestinian people in Gaza and other areas with the irrational justifications of the Zionist regime and in the shadow of the suspicious silence of the international community is one of the most important challenges that hinders the establishment of a culture of peace and hinders progress. It becomes the wheel of development in the region.

The leader of Iraq’s national wisdom of the efforts of the president of Egypt and other countries in the region, especially Iraq, to reach a fundamental solution in order to stop this human disaster and create a just solution that guarantees the dignity of the Palestinians and their natural right in their occupied lands. Slow down, appreciated.

Hakim stressed that despite the occupied lands and the rights taken away and the destructive and daring policies that affect the security of our nations and countries, establishing real development and permanent peace is unthinkable.

He went on to clarify that the Palestinian issue is not a political cover, but an issue related to the dignity of Arab and Muslim citizens, and it is not possible to ignore it in different ways and away from the principle of dignity and humanity.

The leader of Iraq’s national wisdom stream called everyone to sustainable development based on real and permanent peace in the region and said: “Progress towards peace is not an easy task, but it is absolutely necessary and all of us – including governments, assemblies and institutions And people – we must adhere to it seriously and persistently. We believe in joint efforts to achieve peace in the region and around the world.
