According to the foreign policy group Tasnim News Agency, on the initiative of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia, held a webinar today, Tuesday, March 1 At the embassy, ​​in the presence of Kazem Jalali, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Dimitri Azbrov, the deputy minister of transportation of Russia, on the one hand, and “Efendizadeh”, the person responsible for the follow-up of the said project, “Khademi”, the deputy minister and the CEO of the construction company. and the development of the country’s transport infrastructure and “Kuzmin”, the managing director of Caspian Service, the Russian executive of the project, was held. A significant part of the provisions of the executive protocol document of the mentioned agreement expressed hope that the remaining time of this final document will be signed in the meeting of the joint economic commission of the two countries in Tehran.

Jalali announced in this meeting that due to the attention and emphasis of the leaders of the two countries, efforts should be made to prepare and sign the necessary documents as soon as possible so that we can see the start of the construction of the Rasht-Astara railway as soon as possible.
