report Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, the United Nations Security Council failed once again to approve the resolution to establish an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Although this resolution, which was prepared by Algeria, received 13 positive votes, it was not approved due to the veto of the United States.
According to this proposed resolution, the United Nations Security Council calls for an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian aid to reach all parts of the Gaza Strip without any disruption, not to accept the forced resettlement of Palestinians and Adhering to the verdict issued by the International Court would be a criminal offense, which was not ratified by the US veto.
This is the third time since the beginning of the Zionist regime’s brutal attacks on the Gaza Strip that the United States has vetoed the resolution proposed to establish a ceasefire in Gaza and prevented its approval.
