Baghdad: Washington agreed to the timetable for the end of the presence of the international coalition in Iraq

The Prime Minister of Iraq announced that he received an official letter from the US Embassy regarding Washington's agreement with the timetable for ending the duties of the international coalition in Iraq.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani said in a press conference on Tuesday evening: Iraq has received an official letter from the American embassy, ​​in which the American government has the results of the meeting held in Washington has agreed on the implementation of the agreement regarding the timing of the end of the international coalition’s duties in Iraq.

The Iraqi Prime Minister added: There is no longer any justification for the continued presence of the international coalition in Iraq, and it is not needed on our soil. Baghdad has once again emphasized that it is against turning Iraqi territory into a field of conflict and exchange of messages and that the interests of this country are more important.

Earlier, the Prime Minister of Iraq emphasized the necessity of ending the mission of the US-led international coalition in this country during a meeting with members of the American Congress on the sidelines of the Munich Conference.
