He added: This movement is very concerned about the warnings of the UN special rapporteurs about the open genocide in the Gaza Strip and calls for the commitment of the international community to prevent the genocide in the Gaza Strip. Gaza and taking all necessary measures to end it.
The ambassador and deputy representative of Iran in the United Nations continued: The Non-Aligned Movement submitted the request of December 29, 2023. It is welcomed by one of the movement’s member countries, South Africa, to file a lawsuit against the Israeli regime at the International Court of Justice regarding the violation of its obligations under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide in relation to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
