British ballistic missile test failure
The test launch of the Trident ballistic missile, which was launched from a British submarine, was a failure. |
England released its ballistic missile launch failure in the media after two weeks.
After launch, the 58-ton Trident missile immediately deviated from its course and crashed next to the submarine carrying British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps.
According to The Sun, this incident happened on January 30 during a training mission in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of the US state of Florida. The Ministry of Defense confirmed that there was “an anomaly” during the launch, but that the UK’s nuclear deterrent remains safe and effective.
This news has been published while British defense officials did not disclose the failure of this test to the media for two weeks.
