According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, the Afghanistan Railway Department stated in a statement “Bakht al-Rahman Sharaft” During his visit to Uzbekistan, the head of this department signed a memorandum of understanding on the start of technical and economic studies of the Afghan-Trans project with Uzbekistan and the UAE.
This statement states that this memorandum was signed by Bakhtul Rahman Sharaf, the head of Afghanistan Railways. Mirza Moin Oghli, Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan, and Ulanish, President of Edel Ulanish Company from the UAE, have signed the statement. The statement added: “According to this memorandum, the Emirati company is the contracting party, technical, social and economic studies of the line project. “Ahan Afghan-Trans has done it at its own financial cost and later the results of these studies will be shared with financial institutions, countries and businessmen from Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Pakistan to attract investment”. , the construction of this railway will take five years to be completed and put into operation.
Afghan-Trans railway project will connect Central Asian countries with South Asian countries by passing through Afghanistan.
