Russia: America is not interested in peace in Ukraine
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia said: America is not looking for a peaceful solution to the conflict in Ukraine. |
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin accused the United States of not seeking a peaceful solution to the conflict in Ukraine on Wednesday.
“Today, the Ukrainian army survives only thanks to the military support of the West,” Galozin told RIA Novosti. In Kiev, they admit that without it, the armed forces of Ukraine can resist for 1-2 months.
He added: If Ukraine loses, the West will consider it as its loss to Russia.
However, he also noted that Ukraine’s “rhetoric of foreign supporters” is gradually changing, as they once claimed to support Kiev “as long as necessary” and are now more restrained. They do – “as far as the available capabilities allow”.
In December, 26 other EU countries agreed to a 50 billion-euro aid package for Ukraine from this year to 2027, and also agreed to nominate Kyiv for EU membership, which Orban reluctantly agreed to. Accepted this section. Meanwhile, only a part of this financial aid has been sent and Ukraine is still seeking to attract EU members to join this bloc.
