UNICEF and Oxfam warn of famine in northern Gaza
The international organizations UNICEF and Oxfam warned about the disaster of famine in the north of Gaza and the lack of access to this area to send humanitarian aid as a result of the siege of the Zionist regime. |
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, according to Al Jazeera, James Elder, the regional spokesperson of UNICEF, announced that at least one out of every six children in northern Gaza suffers from severe malnutrition.
He stated that the unconditional arrival of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip is an inevitable necessity. Because the aid that is currently reaching Gaza is not enough at all.
Alder continued that the dire conditions that the residents and children of Gaza are currently facing is a direct result of the lack of humanitarian aid.
He called for humanitarian aid to be sent to northern Gaza without hindrance and said that a ceasefire should be established to make this happen.
