America: We are concerned about the continued expansion of Iran’s nuclear program

Matthew (Matt) Miller, the spokesperson of the US Department of State, on Wednesday, local time, in the group of reporters, in response to a question about the meeting of Abram Paley, the deputy special representative of the US government for Iran affairs, with Rafael Grossi. Miller claimed: We are also concerned about the continuation of uranium enrichment in Iran at high levels, and these issues were at the center of Pali and Grossi’s conversation.
The spokesperson of the US State Department also claimed in response to a reporter’s question about the illegalization of VPN in Iran and the possible reaction and action of the US in this regard: This is the latest action that shows how much the Iranian government cares about the Iranian people and their ability to Access to the Internet is free and information is scary.
Miller added: Internet disruptions caused by the Iranian government in the past have caused billions of dollars in damage to the country’s economy and limited people’s access to information.
He said: supporting the free internet in Iran will continue to be the main pillar of our efforts to support the human rights of the people of this country. During the protests of 2022 and 2023, one out of every three Iranians used American digital security and anti-censorship tools, such as the VPN provided by the United States, and this use has continued.
At the same time, the spokesperson of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not explain about Washington’s possible future actions in this regard.
Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, repeated the political claims about our country’s peaceful nuclear program and said that he would like to visit Iran next month to end safeguards issues.
Grossi, speaking to the Reuters news agency, claimed that Iran continues to enrich uranium beyond the level required for peaceful use. He added that he wants to travel to Tehran next month to end the gap between the Agency and Iran.
The director general of the atomic agency claimed that the enrichment speed in Iran has decreased slightly compared to the end of last year, but 7 kg of uranium with 60% purity is produced monthly.
It should be mentioned that the Director General of the Agency published a provocative report in early January and announced that the production of enriched uranium has increased in Iran. According to this alleged report, Iran has changed the speed of enriching its uranium with a purity of 60% and has returned from producing 3 kg to about 9 kg per month.
In this alleged report, Grossi, referring to the increase in the production of enriched uranium in Ferdo and Natanz power plants, announced: Iran has increased the production of enriched uranium with a purity of 60% in the form of hexafluoride to about 9 kg per month since the end of November. .
At the same time, Mohammad Eslami, the head of our country’s Atomic Energy Organization, stated that Iran’s nuclear activities are carried out within the framework of safeguards regulations and agreements. He said: We were producing the same 60% wealth, we did not change anything and we did not create new capacity. This is a media frenzy to divert the pressure of world public opinion from the Gaza war.
The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran also announced: Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, will travel to Tehran in May next year to participate in the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and the first international atomic energy conference.
