The spokesman of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement on Thursday morning that the two ministers discussed the developments of the Zionist regime’s war against the Gaza Strip and the ways to take necessary action within the framework of the Arab group and at the level of the two countries, and expressed their views on reducing this crisis. .
He further added: In this context, the Egyptian Foreign Minister emphasized the legal and humanitarian responsibility of the international parties to stop the war against the Gaza Strip and achieve an immediate ceasefire and condemned the repeated “inability” of the Security Council to issue a ceasefire.
It is worth noting that the new resolution of the Security Council was not approved for the umpteenth time in the background of the American veto.
In this regard, the two ministers addressed the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and emphasized the need for the full implementation of humanitarian aid and relief to reduce the burden of human suffering that Palestinians are exposed to daily.
The conversation also highlighted the growing tensions in the region against the backdrop of the Gaza situation, including threats to the security of shipping in the Red Sea, with the two ministers emphasizing continued contacts with various parties to support efforts to implement a ceasefire.
