The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan warned the senior military officials of Armenia

According to the Trend News website, it is stated in this statement: We ask the senior military officials of Armenia to prevent the occurrence of such provocative actions and those who commit such actions to identify and punish those who have jeopardized peace and stability for five months along the border of the two countries.

According to Trend News, earlier, Armenian armed forces had fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani army from the positions located on the way to Yokhari Shurja settlement in Besarkechar region.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview with France 24 TV channel on Thursday that peace between Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan is unthinkable at the moment and claimed that the Azerbaijani side is preparing to attack Armenia.

Also, French President Emmanuel Macron, in his meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Paris, emphasized that the Republic of Azerbaijan should recognize the borders of Armenia.

The conflict over Karabakh has a long and historical history, but the contemporary conflicts in Karabakh started in the beginning of 1990, at the same time as the collapse of the Soviet Union, between the newly independent republics of Azerbaijan and Armenia, and in 1994, after 30,000 people were killed.
