The German Foreign Minister rejected the request for talks with Putin

The German foreign minister claimed that he will not negotiate with Putin because the Russian president does not seek peace.

German Foreign Minister Analena Baerbock rejected the request to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the conflict in Ukraine.

According to the report of the German news agency, Baerbok said: We hear these voices that say to negotiate with Putin to end the war, but Putin clearly says that he does not want to negotiate for peace.

The German minister said at the UN Security Council in New York that Putin often refers to his victories. Baerbok asked the council that Russia, which is a permanent member of the council, wants an independent country to renounce its right to exist.

Baerbok asked: Which of us will be the next to be attacked by a cruel neighbor? If we give in to this, it will be the end of the UN Charter. Therefore, we will not stop our support for Ukraine, neither now nor tomorrow.

It is worth noting that this Saturday, February 24, is the second anniversary of the beginning of the all-out invasion of Ukraine by Russia. In this regard, at the end of the two years of the war, there are no more strong statements by the European Union and NATO in support of Ukraine, and the polls that showed the maximum support of the people of Europe and the United States for Kiev until last year, today show the opposite side of the people of the West. .
