China’s support for holding a meeting of Afghanistan’s neighbors hosted by Turkmenistan

According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, “U Xiao Yong, China’s special representative for Afghanistan, and Ahmad Gurbanov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, exchanged views on Afghanistan in Ashgabat.
According to reports, the fifth meeting of foreign ministers Afghanistan’s neighboring countries have been one of the main axes of this conversation.
The special representative of China in this meeting expressed his country’s support for holding the fifth meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries as a host. Turkmenistan announced in 2024.
He also acknowledged: China continues to expand its cooperation to help rebuild Afghanistan.
Previously, the fourth meeting of the foreign ministers of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries was held in Uzbekistan in April 1402.
Foreign ministers and representatives of Iran, China, Russia, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan attended that meeting.
Solving the political issues of Afghanistan is one of the goals of the meetings of foreign ministers of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries.
