Students’ protest against Stanford University’s support for the Zionist regime

A number of Stanford University students chanting slogans in support of Palestine demanded to address the issue of this university's role in helping the Zionist regime's crimes in Gaza.

One ​​of the protesters told the audience that his father was killed by Zionist soldiers in Gaza.

The employees and security forces of the university forcibly removed some of the protesters from the meeting. Earlier, 18 protestors were arrested for disrupting a university event.

According to the protesters, they were told to appear in court on a certain date in April.

However, these protesters gathered in front of the hall with their rags and continued chanting. One of the protesters, Eder, said in a statement that they participated in the protest “to express student demands that include addressing Stanford’s role in aiding the genocide in Gaza.”

Other requests include sanctioning institutions and companies “complicit in Israel’s war crimes, apartheid and genocide”, asking for a ceasefire and providing resources for Palestinians abroad.
