, “Abdul Jabbar Takhari”, the Consul General of Afghanistan in the city of Karachi, Pakistan, announced that more than 4 thousand Afghans have been released from Pakistani prisons this year.
He pointed to the continuation of efforts to free the remaining prisoners and said: 200 Afghan citizens are in the prisons of Sindh province, who are trying to and efforts are underway to free them as soon as possible so that they can return to their homeland.
Takhari also stated that the process of arresting and expelling Afghan refugees from Pakistan is also down now.
