Hamas: Expressing optimism about the prisoner exchange agreement is not realistic
A member of the Hamas movement reacted to the optimism expressed by the media circles of the Zionist regime about the closeness of the agreement for the exchange of prisoners. |
reported by Mehr News Agency quoted Al Jazeera, a senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement said that the expression of optimism that the agreement on the exchange of prisoners will be concluded soon does not reflect the reality.
In a conversation with Al Jazeera, this senior Hamas official added: “We have had a positive interaction with mediators to end the suffering of our people and stop the genocidal war.”
He continued: Netanyahu avoids responding to our most important demands to stop the aggression, withdraw completely from the Gaza Strip and return the refugees to the north of the Gaza Strip.
The killing of the Palestinian people by starving them in the northern Gaza Strip is a clear example of genocide and threatens the entire negotiation process.
The statements of this senior Hamas official come while the official media of the Zionist regime, citing internal sources of the regime, expressed optimism that before the month of Ramadan, an agreement between the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Israel will be achieved.
The media of the Zionist regime, quoting the mentioned sources, added that the war cabinet of this regime decided to allow an Israeli delegation to go to Qatar to continue negotiations on the prisoner exchange agreement.
These media also reported, quoting a security official, that this possible agreement does not prevent ground operations in Rafah.
The media of the Zionist regime added that this delegation will go to Doha in the coming days to continue these negotiations with the aim of agreeing on a ceasefire for several weeks, which includes the release of Israeli prisoners in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners.
