Group Seven: We must reduce Russia’s revenues

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, citing Tass, the Seven Group announced its plan to tighten the Russian oil price ceiling.
The Group of 7 announced in a statement after the virtual meeting of the heads of this group that its member countries intend to intensify compliance with the Russian oil price ceiling.
We will continue to put significant pressure on Russia’s revenues from energy and other goods, the G7 statement said. We will continue to take steps to intensify compliance and implementation of the oil price ceiling.
G7 member countries emphasized that they will respond to the violation of the price ceiling for Russian oil, including by imposing more sanctions. According to this statement, these sanctions include those who help transport Russian oil.
The heads of the seven industrialized countries of the world emphasized on continuing efforts to reduce Russia’s income from the energy sector.
